Applicera gel

Videon visar hur man applicerar gel på torra elektroder, visad med EL512 och GEL101A. Använd samma procedur med andra torra elektroder (t.ex. EL507A, EL509) och geler (t.ex. GEL100, GEL104) eller för att fräscha upp förgelade engångselektroder (t.ex. EL502, EL503) som kan ha torkat ut om de inte förseglats för förvaring.

Do not leave GEL in the cavity after use. If GEL is left in cavity, the Ag-AgCl electrode disk could degrade quickly with time because the electrode surface is somewhat porous to promote good conductivity to the GEL.

To clean the reusable electrode, use a cotton swab or toothbrush with tap water.

Use any lab cleaner with pumice (such as Ajax) with cotton swab or toothbrush to remove any dark residue from electrode surface.

Use Hydrogen Peroxide solution (2-3%) to brighten electrode surface (optional) or to sterilize electrode. Do not place the electrode in solution, but simply clean the electrode surface using a cotton swab.

Dry electrode off completely before storage.

ELPREP	EEG/ECG/EMG/EOG Prep Gel 114 g.	EEG/ECG/EMG/EOG Prep Gel 114 g. Designed for EEG, ECG, EMG, and EOG testing. Prepare skin and apply small amount to appropriate electrode site by squeezing near tube opening. Apply small amount to disc electrode and press into the paste that has been applied to the head. Clean with warm water. Net weight: 114 g
GEL1	Electrode Gel, 50 g.	Electrode Gel, 50 g. This non-irritating gel is used as a conductant with the EL250 series reusable electrodes.
GEL100	Electrode Gel, 250 g.	Electrode Gel, 250 g. This non-irritating gel is used as a conductant with the EL250 series reusable electrodes. See GEL1 for a 50 g tube. (See GEL101 for an isotonic paste option.)
GEL101A	Electrode Gel, Isotonic, 114 g	GEL101A electrode paste is specially formulated with 0.5% saline added to a neutral base to create an isotonic, 0.05 molar NaCl, electrode paste. Unlike agar or saline pastes, this paste has a virtually unlimited shelf life. It is supplied in a 114 g (~4 oz) bottle with a convenient flip-top, reclosable cap.
GEL102	Ten20 Conductive Gel 114 g.	Ten20 Conductive Gel 114 g. ECG: Apply gel to entire electrode site with gauze pad. Rub into skin lightly. Rub off excess with clean gauze pad. Apply proper electrode gel and electrode. EEG: Apply gel to electrode site on scalp with cotton swab. Rub lightly. Apply electrode paste and electrode over the gel. Wash skin promptly after use.
GEL103	Tensive Adhesive Gel, 33 ml.	Tensive Adhesive Gel, 33 ml. Conductive adhesive gel. This safe, non-flammable, odorless gel is recommended for TENS, EMG, EEG, and similar protocols.
GEL104	Electrode Gel - salt free - 250 g.	Electrode Gel - salt free - 250 g. The only salt-free and chloride-free electrically conductive gel, recommended for all electromedical procedures. Salt-free characteristics make it particularly suitable for long-term applications. Spectra 360 differs significantly from all other electrically conductive media...it works by wetting the skin, thereby reducing skin resistance. 250 g.

EL254, EL254S, EL258, EL258S	Silver-silver chloride (Ag-AgCl) electrodes, EMG, EEG, EOG..	Silver-silver chloride (Ag-AgCl) electrodes provide accurate and clear transmission of surface biopotentials. EL250 series reusable lead electrodes are suitable for most applications (ECG, EEG, EGG, EMG, EOG, and ERS recordings.) Use EL258 (8 mm recording diameter) for most applications. Use EL254 (4 mm recording diameter) when closely spaced biopotentials are required. EL250 series reusable electrodes are permanently connected to robust and pliable leadwires (1 mm OD). The leadwires terminate in standard Touchproof connectors. Unshielded electrodes terminate in a single Touchproof connector. Shielded electrodes terminate in two Touchproof connectors, one connects to the Ag-AgCl disk and the other connects to the leadwire shield. The EL254 is unshielded and the EL254S is shielded. For best signal performance use shielded electrodes (EL254S or EL258S) as recording electrodes and unshielded electrodes (EL254 or EL258) as ground or reference electrodes. Generally, for each Biopotential amplifier module, two EL254S or EL258S and one EL254 or EL258 are required. Use reusable electrodes with GEL103 conductive adhesive gel or see Electrode Acessories for adhesive collars and other gels. EL120	Ag-AgCl post electrode, reuse, contact through fur or hair.	Ag-AgCl post electrode, reuse. The EL120 electrode has contact posts designed to improve contact through fur or hair. The 12 posts create a 10 mm contact area. The posts are 2 mm deep to push through the fur/hair to provide good contact with the skin surface. Silver-silver chloride (Ag-AgCl) electrodes provide accurate and clear transmission of surface biopotentials and are useful for recording all surface biopotentials on animals and human EEG. EL504	Disp. Cloth electrode, 30/pk.	Disp. Cloth electrode, 30/pk. These disposable cloth base electrodes have a circular contact area of 1 cm diameter on a 2.5 cm square backing. EL507A	Disp. EDA Electrode, 100/pk.	Disp. EDA Electrode, 100/pk. These disposable snap electrodes are designed for electrodermal activity studies and are pre-gelled with isotonic gel. EL508	Disp. Radiotranslucent Electrode, 100/pk.	Disp. Radiotranslucent Electrode, 100/pk. The LEAD110 series electrode leads have no ferrous parts. The leads (1.9 mm diameter) include a pinch connector for easy application and terminate in standard Touchproof connectors for interfacing to 100C-series Biopotential amplifiers or Modular Extension Cables. Use shielded leads with recording electrodes for minimal noise interference. The unshielded leads work best with ground or reference electrodes. Generally, for each Biopotential amplifier module, one each of: LEAD110S-W, LEAD110S-R and LEAD110 are required. LEAD140	Lead alligator TP 1 m.	Lead alligator TP 1 m. Use this fully-insulated, unshielded alligator clip with teeth to connect fine wire electrodes, including irregular surfaces. There is ferrous metal in the clip.
LEAD141	Lead Toothless TP 1m.	Lead Toothless TP 1m. Use this fully-insulated, unshielded alligator clip with smooth clamp to connect to fine wire electrodes without damage, including arbitrarily small electrode wires. There is ferrous metal in the clip.
LEAD142	Lead Test clip TP 1m.	Lead Test clip TP 1m. Use this unshielded retractable clip lead with copper contacts to connect to fine wire electrodes. There is non-ferrous copper alloy in the clip.

Nålelektroder

EL450, EL451, EL452	For stimulation or recording in animal subjects and tissue preparations..		Use needle electrodes for stimulation or recording in animal subjects and tissue preparations. These 28-gauge stainless steel needle electrodes are equipped with a flexible lead terminating in standard Touchproof connectors. Use one EL451 electrode, plus one EL452 ground electrode, when recording from a single site (e.g. studies of individual muscle fibers). Use a pair of EL450 or EL452 electrodes, plus one EL452 ground electrode, for general purpose recording (e.g. ECG). For stimulation, use a pair of EL450 or EL452 electrodes. Teflon coated needle electrodes are fully insulated, with a clear Teflon overcoat, except for the conductive needle tip. Needle electrodes are shipped non-sterile, so pre-sterilization is required. Bar electrodes are recommended for use when applying a stimulus, or recording a signal, during nerve conduction, somatosensory or muscle twitch recordings. When using bar electrodes for signal recording, a single ground lead (LEAD110 with EL503) is required. When using the EL350S the "Shield" line should be placed into one of the two shield connectors on any biopotential amplifier. A ground lead is still required when using the EL350S. The leads (3.8mm diameter x 61cm long) terminate in standard Touchproof connectors, which connect to any 100C-series Biopotential amplifier or stimulus isolation adapter (STMISOC/D/E). A ribbon cable (100 cm) with connector fans out in the cap to connect to each electrode. The connector arrangement permits the electrode cap to be easily disconnected from the recording amplifiers, allowing the cap to be fitted in one location and used in another. When the electrode cap is in place, EEG recording gel is injected into each electrode (via a central gel access hole) with a blunt-tipped syringe. Electrodes are pre-positioned in the international 10/20 montage, so even novice EEG researchers can minimize electrode placement errors. A ribbon cable (100 cm) fans out in the cap to connect to each electrode. The other end of the ribbon cable has a connector that plugs into a mating cable (25 cm) which terminates in 19 Touchproof sockets. The connector arrangement permits the electrode cap to be easily disconnected from the recording amplifiers, allowing the cap to be fitted in one location and used in another. When the electrode cap is in place, EEG recording gel is injected into each electrode (via a central gel access hole) with a blunt-tipped syringe. To connect to older model 100A-series or 100B-series amplifiers, use a CBL201 connection cable. To connect to a BSL MP3X data aquisition unit, use the SS1LA shielded electrode interface cable. CAPMULTI48-54CM, CAPMULTI51-57CM, CAPMULTI54-60CM, CAPMULTI57-63CM	EEG cap easy access	These EEG caps are made of elasticated neoprene material and have multiple holes and electrode location labels for the international 10/20 and 10/10 systems to guarantee exact electrode placement without the hassle of measuring and adjusting. Additional large openings provide easy access to prepare the scalp and adjust the impedances; they also optimize ventilation to prevent heat build-up. Caps can be conveniently fastened with the included chin strap or optional chest strap. Use with dry electrodes from the ELDRY Series or reusable gelled electrodes EL258S and EL658.
